The family attorney, Henry Collins, discovered another transfer.
$180,000 had been moved from Arthur’s investment account.
The destination account belonged to DMW Holdings.
But there was a second account.
This one had Rachel’s name attached.
Rachel was horrified.
“I never opened that.”
Henry investigated.
Someone had created the account using old copies of Rachel’s identification.
Daniel had apparently planned to make it look as though both siblings had benefited from Arthur’s money.
If the scheme was discovered, Rachel would look involved.
Daniel had not only betrayed his father.
He had prepared to sacrifice his sister.
Arthur listened silently.
Then he asked Henry one question.
“Can we stop him without warning him?”
Henry nodded.
“Yes.”
Arthur looked toward the hallway.
